Vijay Chander

Vijay Chander is a distinguished software engineer currently contributing to multicloud network security at Cisco since April 2023. Previously, Vijay co-founded Valtix, serving as CTO until its acquisition by Cisco, where the innovative cloud-native network security platform was developed. Vijay's foundational roles as an engineer at Pensando Systems and Insieme Networks involved significant advancements in security architecture and microsegmentation. Earlier experience includes key engineering positions at Embrane, Andiamo Systems, Amber Networks, and SGI, where Vijay contributed to various networking and security solutions across multiple platforms. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
