Courtney Pleasant

Courtney Pleasant has a diverse work experience. Courtney is currently working at Cision as a Senior Customer Content Specialist since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Customer Content Specialist at Cision from January 2021 to June 2022 and as an Associate Customer Content Specialist from September 2019 to January 2021.

Courtney also worked at the University of Mount Union as RPB Traditions Event Chair from May 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they planned and created programming for various events and collaborated with vendors for catering and entertainment.

Furthermore, Courtney worked at Lowe's Companies, Inc. as a Cashier from February 2018 to May 2019. Their responsibilities included greeting customers, processing payments, and selling protection plans and credit applications.

Additionally, Courtney gained experience as a Communications Intern and Akron Civic Commons Storytelling Intern at the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition from January 2018 to August 2018. Courtney assisted with social media planning, website content creation, and research.

Moreover, Courtney was a Student Worker at the University of Mount Union Library Circulation Desk from September 2015 to May 2018. Their duties involved managing library resources, coordinating equipment usage, and training students on library technology.

Lastly, Courtney worked as a Cashier at Marc's Store and Pharmacy from May 2017 to August 2017 and at Pat Catan Craft Ctr from May 2016 to January 2017. Their responsibilities included providing customer service and ensuring a clean and organized checkout area.

Courtney Pleasant attended Gilmour Academy from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their High School Diploma. After graduating from high school, they went on to study at the University of Mount Union from 2015 to 2019. At Mount Union, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations. In April 2019, Courtney also obtained a certification in "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google's Digital Garage.
