Senior Analyst at Cision

Jesse Mathieu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Beginning in 2002, they served in the United States Air Force as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Section Chief. In this role, they specialized in identifying and disposing of hazardous materials and supported important missions.

In 2015, Jesse joined the University of Michigan as an Office Administrator & Disability Coordinator while pursuing a degree in political science. They provided support to students registered with the disability office through various administrative tasks and developed a database to track student information.

In 2018, Jesse became a Senior Project Coordinator/Research Analyst at The 'MPOWER Project, where they coordinated projects and conducted research analysis.

Most recently, since September 2019, Jesse has been working at Cision as an Analyst, providing strategic market analysis for clients in the automotive, mobility, and technology industries. They specialize in autonomous and electric vehicle industry insights and policy analysis. In May 2021, Jesse was promoted to Senior Analyst at Cision.

Jesse Mathieu's education history begins in 2009 when they attended the Community College of the Air Force, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Explosive Ordnance/Bomb Disposal. Following this, in 2015, Jesse furthered their education at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where they pursued a degree in Political Science with a field of study focusing on Middle Eastern and North African Studies. In addition to their formal degrees, Jesse also obtained a certification as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician from the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal in October 2004.
