Kira Cleary

Director, Consumer Finance Credit Risk at CIT Bank

Kira Cleary has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Kira started their career in 2001 at Indymac Bank, where they held various roles such as Operations Support, Bulk Coordinator, Post Closing Coordinator, and Post Closing Supervisor. During their time at Indymac Bank, Cleary made significant contributions to improving processes and data integrity.

In 2009, Cleary joined OneWest Bank as a GSE Relationship Manager, responsible for maintaining positive relationships with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Kira also developed and administered SharePoint sites to support data storage and reporting needs related to the OCC mandated Foreclosure Review.

From 2013 to 2016, Cleary worked as a Relationship Manager at Fannie Mae, where they managed relationships with clients. In 2016, they joined Banc of California as an AVP, managing the loan administration team for renovation lending and implementing process enhancements.

Most recently, Cleary worked at CIT Bank, starting in 2017 as a VP of Consumer Finance Credit Risk and later promoted to Director of Consumer Finance Credit Risk in 2020.

Throughout their career, Cleary has demonstrated expertise in relationship management, process improvement, data analysis, and risk assessment within the finance industry.

Kira Cleary attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1995 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Liberal Studies & Fine Arts. Kira successfully obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) during this time.
