Dan Bernstein

Dan Bernstein is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in project finance and energy sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at First Citizens Bank since January 2022, Dan has held the same title at CIT since October 2012, focusing on the origination, structuring, and execution of direct and syndicated project finance loans. Prior roles include Vice President, Restructuring & Energy at HSH Nordbank, where Dan was involved in restructuring distressed investments and supporting project finance for renewable and conventional power. Earlier experience includes a role as Associate at GE Energy Financial Services, handling project finance underwriting, and as Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst at Shoreline Utility Fund, specializing in energy-sector hedge fund management.
