John Sloan

John Sloan is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Structured Finance at CIT since October 2021. Prior to this role, John Sloan held positions in portfolio management at Wells Fargo from May 2016 to October 2021, and at GATX from June 2012 to April 2016, where responsibilities included credit and portfolio management and investment risk analysis. Earlier roles include serving as a Special Assets Officer and Analyst at FirstMerit Bank from May 2010 to June 2012, and an internship at Merrill Lynch in late 2006. John Sloan holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Akron, where studies were completed from 2009 to 2011, and also earned a bachelor's degree from the same institution between 2003 and 2008.
