Karl Carlstrom

Karl Carlstrom is a seasoned professional in risk management, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Risk Management at CIT Group since August 2010. In this role, Karl is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of risk management systems, including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), regulatory ratings, limits, covenants, and risk-based pricing. Prior to this position, Karl was a Director and Relationship Manager at CIT Group Inc from January 2003 to August 2010 and held the role of Vice President at Goldman Sachs from 1987 to 2002. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, both from St. John's University, completed between 1974 and 1978.
