Chfm Richard Zappier

Richard Zappier, CHFM has extensive work experience in facilities management and safety. Richard began their career in 1975 as a building and bridges foreman at Metro-North commuter r.r. where they also worked as a conductor. From there, they held various roles in construction, property management, and director positions in physical plant operations and safety. Some of the notable companies they have worked for include Capelli Industries, National HealthCare Corporation, Dynamic Life Recovery, Citadel Care Centers, and Port St. Lucie Hospital. In their most recent role at Port St. Lucie Hospital, they served as the Director of Plant Operations and Safety Director. Overall, Zappier's experience spans over several decades and encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities in safety, facilities management, and construction supervision.

Richard Zappier, CHFM, has a comprehensive education history spanning several years. Richard began their education journey at Pace University-New York from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician. In 1989, they started their studies in the field of human working environment and cycles at an unspecified institution and continued until 1992.

In terms of specialized training, Richard Zappier completed a program focused on life safety at the National Fire Protection Association from 1995 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained relevant certifications, including the Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager from the IHA in July 2013 and a certification in Biohazardous Waste in March 2013.
