Maarten Ackerman

Maarten Ackerman is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment strategy and economics. Currently serving as an Advisory Partner and Chief Economist at Citadel Investment Services since 2003, Maarten has held multiple significant roles within the company, including Investment Strategist and Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, Maarten was a Director at Peregrine Advisory Services from March 2012 to March 2013 and worked as a Portfolio Manager and Quantitative Analyst at Peregrine Quant from September 1999 to September 2003. Maarten holds a Master's degree in Econometrics from the University of Pretoria (1993-1998) and an Investment Advice Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment in London (2011-2012).
