Angela Liew

Angela Liew began their work experience in August 2020 as a Human Resources Intern at CHOYCES LLC. In this role, they conducted interviews, onboarded interns, and collaborated with other organizations for partnerships. From February 2021 to August 2021, Angela worked at the American Red Cross Greater New York as a Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator. Angela spearheaded research initiatives, managed logistics for recruiting volunteers, and conducted outreach through mass emails and flyers. Starting in May 2021, Angela joined RippleMatch as a Program Manager, leading the hiring process for the Leadership Development Internship program. Angela interviewed candidates, expanded campus recruitment, and analyzed new recruitment strategies. Angela then transitioned to a role at Gesture in December 2020, first as a People & Culture Intern where they screened resumes, onboarded interns and employees, and sent offer letters. Later, they became the People Operations Lead, responsible for developing hiring procedures, performance management systems, policies, and employee handbooks. Currently, Angela is a Recruiting Coordinator at Citadel Securities.

Angela Liew completed their high school education at Bronx High School of Science from 2014 to 2018, earning their High School Diploma. Angela then pursued higher education at Boston College from 2018 to 2022, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development.
