Carlos Tse

Carlos Tse has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Carlos currently works as a Site Reliability Engineer at Citadel Securities since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Full Stack Engineer at HSBC from December 2019 to June 2021. Before HSBC, Carlos worked as an Associate at J.P. Morgan from May 2018 to December 2019. Carlos also held the position of System Development Manager at Bank of China (Hong Kong) from December 2017 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, Carlos worked as a Technical Lead at ChinaSoft International from August 2017 to December 2017, and as a Senior Engineer at ASTRI from October 2013 to July 2017. Carlos also gained experience as a Senior System Engineer at Octopus Holdings Limited for a brief period in 2015. Carlos began their career at Kai Shing Management Services Limited, where they worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer from February 2007 to October 2013.

Carlos Tse completed their Master of Science in Computer Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2015. Their focus during this program included cloud computing, distributed systems, big data, mobile apps, 3D games/graphics, and web programming. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Carlos obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.

Carlos has also earned several certifications to complement their education. In April 2020, they attained the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they achieved the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle in November 2010.
