George Kuan

George Kuan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. George began their career as a Software Engineer at Rooftop Communications, where they played a role in the development of last mile wireless Internet technology. Subsequently, they co-founded two businesses, namely Chicago Startup Factory and ScientistGuild, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills.

George later joined HRL Laboratories, LLC, as a Member of Research Staff and Principal Investigator, contributing their expertise in research and development. Following this, they worked at Intel Corporation as an Engineering Manager, overseeing the management of seven engineer teams responsible for building JIT compilers, compiler code generation, and data science tooling.

George also served as the first Intel representative to the W3C WebAssembly Community Group, participating in the design and implementation of technology that is now widely used in web browsers across multiple platforms. During their time at Intel, they were also a core contributor to Chakra's initial implementation of WebAssembly.
