Kyle Nguyen

Kyle Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Kyle started as a Software Engineer Intern at Works Applications Co., Ltd. in 2016, where they gained experience in software development.

Later that year, they worked as a Software Developer at the Earth Observatory of Singapore for a few months. In 2017, Kyle held multiple internships, first as a Software Engineer Intern at Visa, where they applied machine learning to company data and created a machine learning platform. Kyle then interned at PayPal, where they redesigned and implemented a helper library, improving test case running time.

In 2018, they briefly worked as a Software Developer again at the Earth Observatory of Singapore. The following year, Kyle joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Software Engineer, specializing in full-stack development using Python and Angular, along with technologies like Oracle SQL and Tableau.

After leaving Bank of America, Kyle became a Software Engineer II at Connected Freight in 2021. Kyle then joined Citadel Securities as a Systems Software Engineer in 2023, continuing to expand their skills and knowledge in the field.

Kyle Nguyen began their education at VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Computer Programming. Kyle then attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

In 2019, Kyle pursued a Master of Science in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University, which they completed in 2021. During this time, they also completed an Executive Programme in Algorithmic Trading at QuantInsti from 2020 to 2021.

Furthermore, Kyle obtained several additional certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. These include a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University in August 2022, a Certificate of Excellence in EPAT® from QuantInsti in March 2021, a certification in Convolutional Neural Networks from Coursera in August 2020, a certification in Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling from Coursera in May 2019, and additional certifications in various machine learning and deep learning courses from Coursera in 2017.

Finally, Kyle obtained a non-technical certification in Introduction to EOSIO from EOSIO training & certification in April 2021.
