Kilian Gersing

Kilian Gersing currently serves as the COO of Platform Engineering at Citadel, a position held since January 2021. Previously, Kilian was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, focusing on digital strategy and innovation, where a significant achievement included developing a crypto payment processor that reached a $1B valuation. As the Co-Founder and Managing Director of InnoMotions from 2013 to 2015, Kilian led the development of a globally patented intelligent door-brake system for cars, established partnerships, and won the VDI-Award for Best Tech Start-Up, culminating in a successful business sale. Earlier roles include Open Innovation Specialist at Bosch, where Kilian developed a global innovation implementation strategy, and internships at BMW and Bosch, contributing to studies on electric cars and structural engine design. Kilian holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and additional qualifications in Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship from prestigious institutions.
