Reid Philpot

Reid Philpot is a highly experienced software engineer with a comprehensive background in UI and front-end development for financial applications. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Citadel since September 2021, Reid has previously held significant positions including Head of Fusion Development and Head of Fusion UI Development at TP ICAP, and Senior Application Developer at ICAP. With early experience as Vice President - Web Developer at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business and Senior Engineer - UI at Sporting Index, Reid has specialized in creating real-time trading applications, leading high-volume projects, and utilizing a robust technology stack. Reid's foundational roles include extensive work at GFI Group, where notable projects encompassed the EnergyMatch trading platform and the CitiFX Options trading system, along with developing analytical tools and market data software. Reid holds a BSc (Honours) in Computing from The Open University.
