Rachael Baker is an experienced professional with a background in planning, performance management, and education. Rachael currently serves as the Head of Business Planning and Performance Management at CITB, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this role, Rachael worked as the Director of Planning and Performance at Boston College from 2018 to 2019, where they were responsible for strategic planning, operational performance, and governance reporting. Rachael also managed partnership arrangements and led funding bid writing teams. Before their time at Boston College, Rachael worked as a Consultant at REED for three years, providing consulting services to Lowestoft College and CITB. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Director of Planning, Funding, and Admissions at TEN Group, and from 2008 to 2012, they held the same position at City College Norwich. Rachael began their career at The College of West Anglia, where they served as the Head of MIS and Examinations from 1990 to 2008. Throughout their career, Rachael has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in planning and performance in the education sector.
Rachael Baker completed a Professional Development degree in Management Studies at The College of West Anglia from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Teacher Trainer from the same institution between 1998 and 1999. In addition to their formal education, Rachael also holds several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Silicon Beach Training in March 2013, Managing Safely certification from IOSH in April 2011, and various certifications in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and IBT from OCR in July 1992.
