Nandor Bekesi

Nandor Bekesi is an experienced optical design engineer currently employed at CITC - Chip Integration Technology Center since May 2025. Previously, Nandor worked as a research and development engineer at iPronics Programmable Photonics from May 2022 to January 2025 and served as a senior research and development engineer at Monocrom for a brief period in late 2021. Notable contributions include redefining finite element methodology for laser diode clamping simulations and designing heat management systems. Nandor's background also includes significant roles in mechanical design for medical devices at Cocoon Medical and postdoctoral research focused on eye disease diagnostics at Instituto de Optica. Academic experience as an assistant professor and lecturer at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, alongside earlier research and design positions, showcases a robust foundation in mechanical engineering, simulations, and product design, culminating in a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and multiple advanced degrees from the same institution.
