Karen Martuscello

Karen Martuscello is a Design Engineer III specializing in optical design at Thorlabs since September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Optical Systems Engineer at G&H | ITL from January 2024 to August 2025 and a Senior Optical Engineer at Navitar, Inc. from February 2014 to December 2023, focusing on the design, tolerance, construction, and testing of various lenses with an emphasis on wide-angle projection lenses. Karen's expertise also includes work as an Optical Systems Engineer at IMAX, where involvement in the development of a laser digital projector encompassed designing advanced projection lenses and reflective systems.
