Mauricio Alvarado Camacho

Mauricio Alvarado Camacho is an experienced professional in risk management with a strong background in credit portfolio oversight. Since April 2018, Mauricio has held the position of Credit Portfolio Senior Manager and Director, Risk Senior Credit Officer at Citibanamex, focusing on managing a diverse credit portfolio in Mexico that includes real estate, multinational corporations, and local firms. Prior to this role, Mauricio worked at Citi from November 2002 to April 2018 as a Risk Policy Senior Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing wholesale credit reviews in LATAM and contributing to reviews in both LATAM and the US. Mauricio also served as Country Risk Manager and Risk Analysis Unit Head. Mauricio holds a Licenciatura in Administración y gestión de empresas from Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica, earned between 1993 and 1995.
