Lluis Arevalo Salom has been working in the software engineering industry since 2008. Lluis began their career as a Front End Developer at Binary Menorca, where they created pages with PHP and MySQL before migrating technology to ASP .NET C# and SQL Server. In 2014, they became a Freelance PHP & JavaScript Web Developer at dinou19, where they developed 5 projects to help local businesses grow. In 2016, they joined Ironhack as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they re-developed the growth product architecture and implemented Dato CMS on the website CMS. Lluis was then promoted to Global Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for making sure the team was engaged on a professional level and setting KPIs at the specialist and individual level. In 2020, they moved to Olympic Channel as a Software Engineering Technical Manager, where they created and improved the team structure based on the department's needs, managed and improved the hiring process, and defined career paths for all team members. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Citibox as a Software Engineering Manager.

Lluis Arevalo Salom attended Ironhack in 2015, where they completed a Web Development Bootcamp. In 2010, they began studying Computer Science Engineering at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, which they are still pursuing. From 2006 to 2008, they attended I.E.S. Joan Ramis i Ramis, where they completed a Técnico Superior en Administración de Sistemas Informáticos in the field of Informática.
