Shane Lee

Shane Lee, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Application Software Engineering at Wayve, focusing on integrating AI Driver models into vehicle platforms for OEM customers. Prior to this role, Shane held the position of Senior Director of Customer Engineering at Sonatus, where a customer engineering team was built to enhance AI-powered Software Defined Vehicle solutions. Experience also includes serving as a Staff Partner Technology Manager at Google, managing program integrations for Google maps and ADAS products. Previous roles encompass being the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Telenav, leading a global engineering team, as well as significant positions at Trimble Navigation in GPS development, Garmin in embedded software design, and teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern Polytechnic University. Shane holds a Ph.D. and MS in EECS from Ohio University and a BS in EECS from National Cheng Kung University.
