Macarena González Barrios has a diverse work experience in project management, business unit control, and quality assurance. From 2021 to present, they have been working as a Project Manager at Citibox, where they are responsible for the integral management of projects from development to production, task management, scheduling, costs (BOM and investment), risks, and priorities. In 2020, they worked as a Business Unit Controller at techsociety, where they were responsible for the economic control of the company at a general level as well as for all projects. Macarena reported directly to the CEO and CTO and created complete economic reports. From 2014 to 2020, Macarena worked at BQ, where they held two roles: Controller - Business Unit Controller and Project Manager: CKD Program. As Controller - Business Unit Controller, they were responsible for the control of all projects in the Product Department to ensure profitability. As Project Manager: CKD Program, they managed the CKD Program in collaboration with Vinsmart, a Vietnamese business group, and was the main contact between both companies in global project aspects, incident resolution and tracking, supply control, logistics, and billing. Additionally, Macarena was a Project Manager for 3D printers, robotics & DIY products, where they managed the complete projects, identified risks, controlled costs, and ensured the required functionality within the estimated costs. Finally, from 2014 to 2020, Macarena worked as an EOC Operator at Emerson Network Power, where they monitored and provided technical support for energy systems and managed preventive and corrective maintenance of their equipment at a national level.
Macarena González Barrios studied Ingeniería Técnica Industrial in Electrónica Industrial y Automática at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2009 to 2014.
