Rick Maitland

Rick Maitland possesses extensive experience in port and mining operations, currently serving as a Port Operator at CITIC Pacific Mining since May 2015, overseeing all aspects of port operations and stockyard management. Previous roles include Operator at Mount Gibson Iron, where responsibilities included run-of-mine loading and maintenance, and a history with Macmahon as an Operator/Shift Supervisor, managing various operational tasks including crusher and train load-out. Rick gained foundational experience as a Control Room Operator and Underground Bogger Operator at Aditya Birla Group, and as a Process Operator at Consolidated Minerals, focusing on mineral processing techniques. Educational background includes a TEE from Hollywood Senior High School and ongoing studies at Astute Learning and Aveling since 2010.
