Abbas Mahmud

Abbas Mahmud is currently the Country AML Head at Citi, with prior leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including Director of Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance. They have a diverse background in corporate banking, having managed significant client portfolios and high-value deals across various regions. Abbas completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Lahore School of Economics, followed by multiple MBA programs at international institutions such as Nyenrode Business University and Stellenbosch University. Their early career included internships at ABN AMRO Bank and Citi, where they gained experience in product management and investment banking.
