Amanda Qiu

Amanda Qiu has a diverse background in product design, user experience, and sales, beginning with a role as a Sales Associate at Amadeus Strings Music Shop, where training new employees and managing inventory were key responsibilities. Following this, Amanda gained experience as a Digital Design Engineering Intern at Citi, contributing to various product teams, before advancing to roles such as Digital Product Manager and Assistant Vice President of Product Design. Amanda also engaged in product design as part of the Cornell Design & Tech Initiative, focusing on user-centric projects, and served as a HCI Research Assistant at the Cornell Social Media Lab, applying research to improve digital literacy for vulnerable populations. Involvement with Hack4Impact included leading a team to develop a housing search portal and redesigning a volunteer management system for a non-profit organization. Amanda participated in a study abroad program at the Universiteit van Amsterdam in 2022.
