Charles Powell

Charles "Chip" Powell, CFA, currently serves as a Director at Citi since July 2021. Previously, Charles held the position of Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Altrinsic Global Advisors from July 2014 to January 2021, where responsibilities included co-managing a global emerging markets equity portfolio and leading the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. From November 2002 to June 2014, Charles worked at GE Asset Management, co-managing global emerging markets equities and launching GE's first dedicated frontier markets equity fund, which significantly outperformed its benchmark. Charles began the career at GE Capital, progressing through various financial analysis roles. Educational credentials include an MBA in Investments from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford.
