Erick Giovanni Cuellar

Erick Giovanni Cuellar, MBA, CISSP, is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure Defense Initiatives at Citi since February 2018, Cuellar leads innovative projects focused on the protection of digital assets and infrastructure, managing a team of cybersecurity experts. Cuellar’s prior experience includes positions at Cognizant, where roles spanned from Senior Vice President of Cyber Security Strategy to Vice President of Cyber Security Delivery, as well as contracting for Citibank N. A. in various capacities, including Senior Data Analyst and Distributed Database Lead. Cuellar began a career at Citibanamex as Manager of Database Administration and Incident and Problem Manager after earlier experience as a Business Data Analyst at Iusacell. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration focused on Cyber Security from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Universidad Victoria in Mexico.
