George Clayton

George Clayton is a Managing Director at Citi since November 2011, overseeing Corporate Credit in the UK and Europe and serving as the Head of Credit Risk for Citibank Europe plc. Previously, George held the position of Director at Citi from 1998 to 2010, leading the London-based remedial management unit and managing complex restructurings across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. From April 2010 to November 2011, George was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, specializing in credit risk management with a focus on distressed portfolios in the transportation and real estate sectors. George graduated with First Class Honours in Modern & Medieval Languages (German & French) from St. Catharine's College, University of Cambridge, in 1998.
