Hakan Danış

Hakan Danış is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Macro Scenario Design at Citi since 2023, where responsibilities include designing macro-economic scenarios for enterprise-level stress testing and capital planning. Prior to this role, Hakan held the position of Director of Economic Scenarios and OpRisk Modeling at U.S. Bank for a brief tenure, and spent a decade at MUFG as Director of Macro Scenarios and OpRisk Modeling, overseeing teams focused on macroeconomic modeling and stress testing. Hakan's academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at İstanbul Şehir University and educational credentials consist of a PhD in Economics from the University of Georgia, along with advanced degrees in Banking and Finance and Economics from Kadir Has University and Marmara University, respectively.
