Hamish Alexander

Hamish Alexander is an experienced risk management and operations leader with a robust background in the financial services industry. Most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Controls at Citi since October 2022, Hamish previously held the position of Director of Risk Management at American Express, where oversight of over 100 projects in New Product Approval and Third-Party Life Cycle Management was managed. Additional roles at American Express included Director of Strategy and Operations, managing Americas Call Center functions, and various positions that spanned customer acquisition and brand awareness initiatives across Europe and Australia. Prior experience also includes leading the operations at Experian, where the phone-based client and customer service operations were designed and launched. Hamish holds an MBA from Charles Sturt University.
