Helen Lu

Helen Lu, CFA, has a diverse background in finance and investment, showcasing a strong dedication to the field through various roles. Beginning with early experiences as an Event Planner for the Chinese Professionals Association of Canada and a First Year Representative for the Mathematics Society at the University of Waterloo, Helen progressed to positions such as Business Development Associate at DBRS and an IT Business Analyst at TD. Further contributions include serving as President and Chief Returning Officer for UW FARMSA, where Helen co-founded a club for Financial Analysis and Risk Management students. Currently, Helen is a VP in Institutional Equity Sales at Citi since June 2015, with previous roles including Investment Banking Analyst at Scotiabank, Structured Product Sales at Deutsche Bank, and an Investment Research Intern at CPP Investment Board. Helen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Financial Analysts & Risk Management from the University of Waterloo and is pursuing an MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
