Irsa Ashraf

Irsa Ashraf is a Data Engineer at Citi since September 2023, with prior experience as a Data Science Fellow at UChicago Data Science Institute, where feature engineering and location prediction models were developed for a buoy manufacturing client. Irsa has held roles as a Data Science Intern at CyberCube, conducting feature engineering for risk-quantification models, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Harris School of Public Policy, supporting a machine learning course. Additional experience includes serving as a Data Analyst with NexDegree, where supervised learning algorithms were applied to sales data for Unilever and Domino's, and as a Strategy and Data Analyst for the United Nations, focusing on technology strategies and dashboard development for senior leaders. Irsa has also contributed to projects at LA Blockchain Lab, HerCode Global, ProSocial, and UCLA Burkle Center, demonstrating a breadth of experience in data analysis and project management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science and Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Global Studies from UCLA.
