Marcelo Medina A Pires is an accomplished technology leader with over 28 years of experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Director and Senior Vice President of Remote Access Services at Citi since February 2008, Marcelo leads initiatives in capacity expansion, service improvements, and virtual infrastructure deployment while evaluating SASE strategies. Previously, Marcelo held various leadership positions at Citigroup, including Vice President roles in Remote Access Engineering and DMZ Engineering, where complex solutions and regional systems were developed and implemented. Marcelo holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Communications from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Economics from Cornell University, along with education at other notable institutions in Brazil.
