Senior Vice President - Financial Access Partnership Manager

Marco Chavarin is a community and economic development professional with over twelve years of experience in leading financial inclusion and economic justice initiatives aimed at low-income communities. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Financial Access and Impact Partnerships at Citi, Chavarin previously managed programs for the Honorable Treasurer José Cisneros in San Francisco and co-chaired San Francisco’s Smart Money Network with the Charles Schwab Foundation. Chavarin has also held key roles with various organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for HomeownershipSF and the Central American Resource Center. Recognized for contributions to financial planning, Chavarin has been a featured speaker at various conferences and is passionate about capturing Latinx culture through traditional Mexican folk art known as “papel picado.” They are currently pursuing a degree in Community and Regional Development with a focus on Economic Development at the University of California, Davis.
