Neal Smith

Neal Smith is the Regional Head of Employment Tax, currently managing employment tax issues across 53 EMEA jurisdictions. With a background in employment tax management at Ernst & Young and KPMG LLP, they have provided commercial tax advice and managed revenue disputes. Neal has also gained international tax experience at Citi, where they supported UK employment taxes and represented the company in industry working groups. In addition to their professional expertise, Neal is an amateur architectural and decorative blacksmith, proficient with a stick welder, and dedicates time as a supporter, fundraiser, and volunteer for the Bliss charity for premature and sick babies. Neal is pursuing a MA in Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen.
