Riweena Perumal

Riweena Perumal is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Director of Fixed Income and Investor Flow Sales at Citi since October 2018. Prior to this role, Riweena worked at Absa Group from June 2013 to September 2018 as Vice President in Fixed Income Sales, where essential contributions were made to drive the corporate bond franchise and ensure market liquidity and transparency. Earlier experience includes a position at Barclays Investment Bank from January 2008 to 2013 in Fixed Income Institutional Structured Sales, focusing on sales and structuring derivatives for asset consultants and institutional clients. Riweena holds a Bachelor of Business Science Honours degree in Finance from the University of KwaZulu Natal, earned between 2004 and 2007, and completed Matriculation with distinction at Durban Girls' High School from 1999 to 2003.
