Vasant Bhad

Vasant Bhad is a seasoned professional in application development and technology leadership, currently serving as Vice President and Application Development Tech Lead for Commodities at Citi since April 2014. Vasant has played a pivotal role in architecting the Commodities Market Data Analytics Platform and leading the development of the Commodities CVA Risk and PnL solutions. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President and Associate Vice President at Citi, where Vasant contributed to the Commodities Risk and PnL platforms. Vasant’s career also encompasses experience as an Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank, Senior Design Engineer at GE Healthcare, Associate Consultant at Siemens Technology India, and Software Engineer at Capsilon India Pvt Ltd. Vasant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecom from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
