Evelien van Damme has a diverse work experience background. Evelien started their career as an intern at Hill & Knowlton, gaining experience in communication consultancy. Evelien then moved on to roles at Koninklijk Theater Carré and Significant before pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration. Afterward, they worked at the University of Amsterdam as a management assistant before joining Kirkman Company where they held various roles focusing on customer excellence and experience. Currently, Evelien is the Director of Business Products at citizenM hotels, where they are responsible for developing membership, B2B, and B2C products.
Evelien van Damme completed their Gymnasium degree at Herbert Vissers College from 1998 to 2004. Evelien then graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Policy, Communication & Organisation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2008, and later a Master of Science in Business Studies with a specialization in Strategy at Radboud University from 2008 to 2010. In 2018, Evelien obtained the Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) certification from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA).
