Beth Chajes

Beth Chajes is an experienced leader in environmental communication and advocacy, currently serving as the Chapter Leader and Delaware State Coordinator for Citizens' Climate Lobby since May 2016. Chajes successfully launched the first CCL chapter in Delaware, increasing membership from 25 to approximately 650, and has coordinated the development of statewide activities while representing Delaware at regional events. Prior to this role, Chajes worked as Communications Manager at the University of Delaware, where responsibilities included developing strategic marketing plans, grant writing, and managing communications for the Delaware Environmental Institute. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Biology from Trinity University.
