José Dobles

Jose Dobles is an experienced leader in education and community engagement, currently serving as Vice President of Programs at the Citizens Committee for New York City since May 2023. Previously, Jose worked as an Administrative Education Officer at the NYC Department of Education, supporting the adoption of the community school model across 20 public schools. Additional roles include Senior Program Associate at the Annenberg Institute for School Reform, Program Director at Coro New York Leadership Center, Senior Director of Youth Programs at Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice, and Director at the Andover Bread Loaf Writing Workshop. Jose is pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership and Policy at NYU Steinhardt School, and holds an M.Div from Union Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Religious Studies from the College of the Holy Cross.
