Michael Gardner has extensive experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. Michael has held senior executive roles in multiple organizations, including Citizens Energy Group as the Chief Audit Executive, GRC Advisory Services as the Managing Partner, Indiana University Bloomington as the AVP & Executive Director of Internal Audit, Textron as the Vice President of Internal Audit & ERM, and Hillenbrand Industries as the Vice President of Internal Audit & Chief Risk Officer. Prior to these roles, they served as the Director of Internal Audit at Ameritech and held positions at Indiana State University as an accounting instructor, Coopers & Lybrand as an Audit Supervisor, and Eli Lilly & Company as an Internal Auditor.
Michael Gardner pursued an MBA in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1981 to 1985.
