Matt Putnam

Matt Putnam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both education and corporate settings. Currently serving as the Sourcing Commodity Lead and VP at Citizens since May 2020, Matt specializes in strategically sourcing IT solutions, emphasizing financial and operational value. Prior to that, experience as a Rhode Island certified mathematics teacher was gained at North Providence High School and Charles E. Shea High School. Matt's previous corporate roles include significant positions at Hasbro, where leadership was demonstrated in customer and consumer insight, category management, and retail strategies, along with tenures at Reckitt-Benckiser, Proctor & Gamble, and Ralston Purina. Educational credentials include a RI Teacher Certification in Mathematics from Providence College and a B.S. in Managerial Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
