Nitin Paranjape serves as the Senior Director/SVP of Consumer Credit Risk for Auto and Student portfolios at Citizens since April 2023. In this role, Nitin acts as a senior credit officer, overseeing the credit culture and ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance, governance, risk appetite, and credit policy. Nitin's extensive experience in risk management includes previous positions at Citizens Financial Group as Director of Loss Forecasting and CCAR, JPMorgan Chase as Executive Director of Risk Architecture, and Citi as Director of Risk. Additionally, Nitin has held various leadership roles in credit risk and analytics at GMAC/Ally Financial, GE Capital, UnitedHealth Group, and Talent Software Services, with a foundational career beginning at Tata Infotech as Program/Project Manager. Nitin holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology, a PG Diploma in Marketing Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics from the University of Allahabad.
