Jeff Whiteside, MSW, LICSW, has extensive experience in social work and advocacy, currently serving as a social service advocate at the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Massachusetts since June 2015, where responsibilities include supporting youth and families involved in the criminal legal system and assisting with re-entry plans for incarcerated individuals. Jeff has also been a board member of Citizens for Juvenile Justice since December 2018 and operates a private mentorship practice focused on youth with behavioral health diagnoses. Previously, Jeff held various roles, including Therapeutic Mentor at The Home for Little Wanderers, Social Work Intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Family Advocate at YMCA of Greater Seattle Children's Crisis Outreach. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University.
