Matthew E. Keene

Matthew Keene has extensive banking experience, having held various roles at different institutions. Their most recent position was as President & CEO at Citizens National Bank of Cheboygan, a role they held from April 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they served as Executive Vice President at the same bank from September 2017 to March 2018. Before their executive roles, Matthew held the positions of Senior Vice President & Senior Loan Officer and Vice President at Citizens National Bank of Cheboygan from May 2017 to September 2017 and from March 2015 to May 2017, respectively. Earlier in their career, Matthew was Vice President at First Community Bank - Michigan from February 2008 to March 2015.

Matthew Keene completed their education history with a Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where they attained a GSB Graduate degree from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration degree specializing in Marketing at Western Michigan University, from 1995 to 1996. Matthew began their educational journey at Central Michigan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a focus in Finance, spanning from 1990 to 1994.
