Brad Scovill has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on leadership roles. Brad began their career at L.R. Webber Associates, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in community banking. During their ten years there, they worked on various projects to improve the performance of banks in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
In 1991, Scovill joined Bank of Hanover & Trust Company as Executive Vice President & CFO. Brad was responsible for finance and accounting operations, including budgeting and asset/liability management. Brad later became President & CEO of the bank, overseeing its growth and eventual acquisition by Sterling Financial Corporation.
After leaving Bank of Hanover, Scovill joined Sterling Financial Corporation as Executive Vice President & CFO. In this role, they led finance, accounting, and regulatory reporting activities. Brad also implemented internal controls and certification processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation. Scovill later became Senior EVP & Chief Revenue Officer, with overall responsibility for revenue-generating business units.
Scovill then joined PNC as Executive Vice President, overseeing the Central PA Region. Brad joined Kish Bank in 2009, initially serving as EVP & CFO before being promoted to SEVP/Chief Operating Officer & Sr. Risk Officer. In 2013, they became President & Chief Operating Officer, leading banking, wealth management, and insurance business lines. Brad developed strategies for client acquisition and identified growth opportunities through expansion and acquisition.
Scovill's most recent role is at Citizens & Northern Bank, where they currently serve as President & CEO.
Brad Scovill attended Penn State University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance. In September 1989, they obtained a Certificate in Loan Review from the Bank Administration Institute.
