Katherine Krackhardt is a dedicated educational leader with extensive experience in various roles. As Co-Founder and Co-Principal of Battle Born Academy since May 2021, Katherine actively contributes to educational innovation. In addition, Katherine is a fellow at the Citizens of the World Leader Institute, a program aimed at empowering leaders to foster equitable learning environments. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Academic Excellence and Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America, as well as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher with Clark County School District. Katherine's teaching journey began as a Corps Member with Teach For America and has roots in academia as a Teaching Assistant at Allegheny College. Katherine holds a Graduate Certificate in School Administration and Supervision from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master's in Secondary Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Allegheny College.
