Maureen Lamorena-Tatsui

Maureen Lamorena-Tatsui has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Principal at Citizens of the World Charter Schools since August 2012 and as Principal at Citizens of the World Charter School-Silver Lake since 2017. Maureen began a career in education at Compton Unified School District from August 2002 to June 2012 as an Educator. Additionally, Maureen was involved with Teach for America as a Teacher from June 2002 to June 2004 and as a Corps Member Advisor during the Summer Institute in April 2005. Maureen holds a Ph.D. in Education from Claremont Graduate University (2007-2014), an M.A. in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University (2002-2004), and a B.A. in Anthropology and Communication Studies from UCLA (1997-2001).
