Deputy Campus Director at Citizen Schools

Laura Hilbert has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2009 as a Primary/Secondary English Teacher at Ablykahn School. From 2009 to 2011, they also worked as a Teacher Trainer/Development Officer at Taraz. Laura later joined the Peace Corps in 2010, serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer Training Assistant and then as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader from 2011 to 2011. In 2011, Laura became the Head Teacher of the English Faculty at Parasat Humanitarian-Pedagogical College. In 2012, they held the role of Interim Executive Director at Bound Together and also founded the Pontiac Youth Assistance Coalition. Laura then joined Citizen Schools, where they became the Deputy Campus Director in 2012. At Citizen Schools, Laura was responsible for model interactive learning, developing strong school relationships, supervising staff, leading initiatives for campus improvement, and building relationships with students' families.

Laura Hilbert attended Madonna University from an unknown start year until 2009. Laura completed their Bachelor's degree in the Department of Writing & Media Studies, with a concentration in English and Journalism.
