Andy Czerwonka

Andy Czerwonka has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Andy is currently employed as the Principal Software Engineer - AI/ML Platform Lead at Citrine Informatics since December 2019. Additionally, they serve as an Advisor for Product & Technology at Tauri, starting from June 2021. In the past, Andy has held positions such as a Board Member at Exterra Monitoring from January 2015 to June 2020, Chief Technology Architect at Aucerna from October 2017 to December 2019, and VP of Technology at 3esi-Enersight (now Aucerna) from October 2015 to September 2017. Before that, they worked as a Consultant - Scala at Pluralsight for a brief period in August 2013. Andy also has experience as a Partner at Andy Czerwonka Partners from January 2000 to January 2008, a Partner at Sophina Capital Inc from February 2005 to February 2007, and as a Lead Architect - Consulting at Nexen Inc. from 2002 to 2005. Furthermore, Andy worked as an Enterprise Architect - Consulting at Shaw Communications from 2003 to 2004.

Andy Czerwonka attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 1990 to 1994, where they studied Computer Systems. In addition to their formal education, Andy has obtained several certifications. In November 2016, they received a certification in R Programming from Coursera Course Certificates. In July 2016, they completed a course on Machine Learning from Stanford University, also through Coursera Course Certificates. In December 2013, they obtained a certification in Principles of Reactive Programming from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, and in November 2012, they completed a course on Functional Programming Principles in Scala, also from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne through Coursera. Furthermore, in April 2013, they obtained a certification in MongoDB Programming from MongoDB.
